Best Way To Level Carpentry

Going off the chart the best way to level carpentry fast is to disassemble large beds, large wardrobes and bunk beds as you explore.

Once you have an axe and nails you can chop trees to saw logs then use those logs to build the highest level walls you can (Wooden Wall Lv. 1, Lv. 2, Lv. 3 Req Carpentry Lv. 2, Lv 4, Lv. 7 respectively).

Whilst disassembling walls does give XP the action itself takes a long duration. You’re better off just building a lot of walls.

Note: You may not be able to disassemble wardrobes and bookshelves in multiplayer as they are containers for spawning items.

Tips For Leveling Faster

Those nice looking walls you want for base building are unlocked at Carpentry Lv. 7 (needs 10,275 XP). To help you level faster make sure to read Carpentry Skill Books before you grind for XP.

You can also make use of the starting skill bonus if you take Carpentry as a starting skill. However the trait is quite expensive to take.
