Where do you socket your weapon, armor, accessories, off-hand, footgear and garment? The additional card slot for your gear will require 10 additional copies of the item you are looking to socket (1x Item to be slotted + 10x Same Item = 11x Total). Depending on the equipment, this may be quite expensive. However if you have the relevant cards to insert this upgrade can greatly increase your damage.
Rare equipment like Fairy in Bottle only require 5x additional copies for slotting.
- You can only add additional card slots to gear with a “Not Socketed” slot (see above)
- The 10x gear you are sacrificing for your upgrade must not have any refine levels
- Broken gear cannot be used as materials for adding slots
Where to find NPC to slot equipment
Have the required materials? Next go visit the relevant Socketing Equip NPC. The NPC location will depend on the equipment you are looking to slot:
- Geffen (Weapon, Off-hand, Armor)
- Morroc (Footgear, Garment)
- Payon (Accessory)
Note: If you are having trouble slotting your accessory, ensure that the accessory you are trying to socket is in the first slot.
Upgrading Gear – End Tier
Completing your equipment final End Tier upgrade will reset the socket count. In essence you will receive a new equipment piece with its default slots (enhancement remains, you also lose 2 refinement). In most cases this would mean weapon slots will revert back to and equipment and accessories will revert back to slots.
Now that you’ve slotted your gear. Check out these cards to increase your damage.
