What Upgrades Provide
Wall Hp can be increased by increasing Carpentry/Metalworking, using Metal Frames and by building higher level walls:
- Lv. 1 Wooden Walls are available at Lv. 2 Carpentry.
- Lv. 2 Wooden Walls are available at Lv. 4 Carpentry.
- Lv. 3 Wooden Walls are available at Lv. 7 Carpentry.
- Each Carpentry Level adds 20HP to Wooden Walls and 50HP to Log Walls.
- Wooden Wall Upgrades add 100HP. Eg Lv. 2 Wooden Walls will have 100HP more than Lv. 1 Wooden Walls.
- Metal Frames provide 70HP more than Wooden Frames.
- Lv. 1 Metal Walls are available at Lv. 2 Metalworking (You can build it with a wooden frame).
- Metal Frames are available at Lv. 3 Metalworking.
- Lv. 2 Metal Walls are available at Lv. 8 Metalworking.
- Each Metalworking Level adds 20HP to Metal Walls.
- Metal Wall Upgrades add 100HP. Eg Lv. 2 Metal Walls will have 100HP more than Lv. 1 Metal Walls.
The Best Walls
The best walls depends on your Carpentry/Metalworking Level. With max Metalworking you can build Lv. 2 Metal Walls with Metal Frame which is the best wall in the game providing 1,070HP of protection.
Metal walls will provide equal or more protection than Log Walls. Log walls are better than wooden walls however get surpassed at higher levels of Carpentry with metal frames.
Without Metal Frames Log Walls are typically superior with the exception at a few specific carpentry levels (Lv 7 and Lv. 8).
