Tips for More Kills
Tip #1: Use Buffs to Deal More Damage
In the rift all players will transform into Ultraman and deal 111,111 damage to the monsters. However buffs can be used to do 2x damage to specific monsters.
You will pick up buffs as you kill monsters. These buffs will appear in the bottom right hand of your screen next to your attack skill (See Above). Activate the buff you want by tapping on its icon.
To get more kills it is therefore important to make use of your buffs correctly. In essence you will want to target specific monsters depending on your active buff.
Tip #2: Don’t Follow, Spread Out
You will want to avoid following in this rift. Spread out. This will ensure that you aren’t fighting over buffs. Additionally this will help your team get more out of the buffs. You wouldn’t want your team members cannibalizing your monsters when they could be attacking another.
Tip #3: Not Familiar with Monsters, Here’s an Alternative
Not familiar with the buff icons and the monsters? Here’s something else you can do to help target the right thing. First activate any buff. Your player will display the name of a monster upon activation. Use this hint to select the correct monster to attack (You can target monsters with your auto attack button just like usual).
Tip #4: Save Your Buffs
The Ultraman Rift has multiple rounds. If you don’t see monsters relevant to your buff in your area, save that buff for the next round.
Tip #5: Use Manual Attack
Spam the manual “punch” attack to help prevent flinching. You may have seen other players, or even do this yourself during MVP fights. It works the same way.
